30 Goupil G4 vehicles to support the Port of Brest's decarbonisation plan

As part of its energy transition strategy, the Port of Brest has acquired a fleet of 30 Goupil G4 electric vans

Electric utility vehicles tailored to port operations

Goupil electric utility vehicles are perfectly suited to the operational needs of the Port of Brest, enabling teams to:

  • Carry out maintenance operations across the entire port site.
  • Transport tools and equipment.
  • Move around the site safely.

« A first vehicle was made available for a one-week trial period, which was successfully validated by the Port of Brest's technical teams. » explains Philippe Honoré, Fleet Manager at the Port of Brest

A secure and connected fleet

On a port site, the safety of technical teams is a key priority. The Goupil G4 vehicles deployed at the Port of Brest have been specially configured to meet these requirements:

  • Speed limited to 30 km/h, suitable for travel within the site and to the city centre for supplies.
  • Badge-based starting system: vehicles can only be started using a badge. Scanning the badge allows immediate access and vehicle start-up.
  • Continuous geolocation: each vehicle enables precise tracking of its usage history and assigned user.
